Cor-Bon Glaser .40 S&W 115-grain ammunition uses a compressed #12 shot payload within a Glaser projectile to promote rapid fragmentation and energy dispersal after impact. The design is intended to create an effective wound cavity while reducing the potential for overpenetration compared with conventional solid projectiles. This load produces a listed muzzle velocity of 1350 feet / second and muzzle energy of 465 foot-pounds. It is loaded in a brass case and supplied in a six-round box.
