The 1851 Navy Colt...
The 1851 Navy Colt London proof marked gun came in mint condition, beautiful work by Uberti, which is located the very Northern region of Italy. Revolver is a work of art and my 3rd late 19th Century Uberti Civil War/ Western era 6 shooter. Delivery was delayed by a record winter storm across much of middle south, east of Mississippi River. I called Bud s only once after several days delayed delivery and their customer service rep was great as always and got on it since tracking was incomplete by carrier given magnitude of storm. I've been using buds for 15 yrs, they've always impressed me regardless whether it was ammo, parts, holsters or the occasional gun purchase.

Bud's Service was...
Bud's Service was excellent as always. The revolver is well built with tight tolerances and cosmetically looks great. However, one of the nipples was absolutely frozen in the cylinder and no amount of penetrating oil or heat or nipple wrench force would remove it. I had not fired the gun and was removing the nipples to replace with Slix-Shot Nipples. I elected to send it back for warranty; whether I have to pay the return shipping or not is yet to be decided. I like the Uberti London Model 1851 and I have several other black powder revolvers to compare it against. The frozen nipple was probably just a fluke and should be fixed soon.
