Description
Product Overview
The Colt 1911 Lightweight Commander Optics Ready combines the established single-action 1911 platform with a lightweight aluminum-alloy frame and a forged carbon steel slide. Chambered in 9mm, it uses a 4.25-inch barrel and provides a 9+1 capacity for practical carry and range use. The matte black anodized finish supports a subdued, durable profile, while the optics-ready slide features a precision cut and removable cover plate for compatible red-dot installation. Novak white-dot front and black serrated rear sights provide a clear conventional aiming system, and the slim Black Cherry G10 grip offers a secure, low-profile hold. Its 29.4-ounce unloaded weight and 7.75-inch overall length balance portability with the controllability of the Commander format.
