Description
Product Overview
The Colt Defender is a lightweight compact 1911 pistol chambered in 9mm and built for discreet carry and practical defensive use. Its aluminum alloy frame keeps the unloaded weight to 24 ounces, while the three-inch stainless steel barrel and carbon steel slide provide a durable locked-breech platform. The Combat Grey frame and blued slide create the model’s two-tone appearance, complemented by thin G-10 logo grips. Novak sights, including a genuine Novak night front sight and low-mount carry rear sight, support rapid target acquisition in varied lighting. A single-action hammer-fired trigger, thumb safety, upswept beavertail grip safety, and Series 80 firing pin safety complete the compact 1911 configuration.
