Description
Product Overview
The Dan Wesson 1911 Discretion Commander is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol built around a forged stainless steel frame and a Duty Finish slide. Its single-action 1911 operating system provides a crisp trigger interface, while the manual thumb safety and grip safety offer the familiar controls expected from this platform. G10 grips provide a secure hold, and the high front and rear night sights support target acquisition in reduced-light conditions. The threaded barrel is configured for suppressor use, and the Commander configuration helps reduce muzzle weight when a suppressor is attached.
Key Features
- 9mm chambering with 10+1 capacity for practical defensive and range use
- Single-action 1911 operation with a manual thumb safety and grip safety
- Forged stainless steel frame for a durable foundation
- Duty Finish slide with G10 grips for corrosion resistance and a secure grip
- Threaded barrel configured as a suppressor host
- High front and rear night sights for improved visibility in low light
The Dan Wesson 1911 Discretion Commander combines classic 1911 controls with a suppressor-ready 9mm configuration for range, training, and defensive applications.

Great gun , I own many...
Great gun , I own many 1911's . Among them are Wilson Combat and the like. I will say that my new Dan Wesson Discretion 9mm. is my new favorite.\r The gun just shoots much smoother and recoil is next to nothing. Read a lot of reviews before purchasing the weapon . Also spoke with a few pistol smiths\r most of which said that this is the best 1911 out of the box. Note: and as a reminder it is less than half of the price of my Wilson Combat. Thanks Buds for the \r great pricing on all your guns and accessories .
