Its forged stainless steel frame and forged slide provide a durable foundation, while the Clark-style slide rib, adjustable target rear sight, and fiber optic front sight support precise target acquisition. The pistol features front and rear cocking serrations, an undercut trigger guard, and 25 LPI front strap checkering for a secure grip during extended range sessions. Double diamond cocobolo grips complete the classic configuration. With a 9+1 capacity and mild 9mm recoil, the Pointman Nine is well suited to range practice and 1911 competition.

Very happy with this...
Very happy with this gun. I decided to clean and treat with mobile one synthetic before prior to shooting as heard about the break-in period. I'm not sure if it made a difference but it shot flawlessly. I did have to redo the sites as it was shooting high and left but now have it zero'ed in. I has the earlier Silverback version and never had any issues with that gun either.
