The FN FNX-9 is a full-size 9mm pistol built around an ergonomic polymer frame and a low-bore axis that helps reduce perceived recoil and improve control. Its double-action/single-action operating system combines a longer double-action first pull with a shorter single-action follow-up pull. The profiled stainless steel slide features front and rear cocking serrations, while the 4-inch cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel is designed for reliable accuracy. Checkered, ribbed grip panels and two interchangeable backstrap inserts allow the shooter to tailor the grip to hand size. Ambidextrous controls and manual safeties make the FNX-9 suitable for a broad range of right- and left-handed users. This configuration includes night sights and three magazines.
