Product Overview
The Fusion Firearms Freedom Series 1911 Long Slide Match is a full-size, all-steel 1911 pistol built around the original Series 70 Colt design. Its six-inch long-slide configuration, precision CNC-machined frame, slide, and barrel, and gunsmith-fitted components provide a solid platform for accurate range and competition use. The hard-chrome barrel features a target crown for durability and easier cleaning, while positive lock-up, a lowered and relieved ejection port, and a tuned extractor support dependable operation. An extended thumb safety and beavertail grip safety provide traditional 1911 handling. The pistol is equipped with an LPA fully adjustable match sight set featuring a fiber optic front sight, plus red Cocobolo hardwood grips and a beveled magazine entrance with an integrated mag-well mainspring housing. It includes one eight-round magazine.

Fusion is a quality...
Fusion is a quality company not only for completed firearms but parts as well. This 1911 was well made, tight fitting, smooth trigger pull etc. My only complaints are that it only came with one mag and the finish will scratch easily. However, that is just the way it is with this type of finish. I wish they would offer one in stainless. The gun comes with a fusion gun case that will accommodate multiple mags, tools and spare items. Tahe case is really first rate, really, really nice. All in all, probably the nicest 6" 1911 at this price point.
