The Rock Island Armory TAC 1911 Compact is a single-action 9mm pistol built around the proven 1911 design in a compact configuration. Its 3.5-inch barrel and steel construction provide a practical balance of portability and shootability, while the beavertail grip safety, manual thumb safety, combat hammer, and skeletonized trigger support controlled operation. The serrated slide features a dovetail Novak-style rear sight and dovetail front sight for dependable target acquisition. Polymer grips provide a secure handhold, and the Blue/Black finish adds a durable, subdued appearance. The pistol comes with a protective case.
