The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 is a semiautomatic .22 LR pistol designed for comfortable range use and straightforward maintenance. Its 5.5-inch cold hammer-forged bull barrel supports consistent accuracy, while the precision-molded polymer grip frame uses checkered 1911-style grip panels, a serrated front strap, and a checkered backstrap for a secure hold. A one-button takedown system lets the barrel and receiver assembly tilt up and off the grip frame without tools, simplifying field-stripping and chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. The pistol also features an ergonomic bolt stop, easy-to-grasp bolt ears, a contoured ejection port, an ambidextrous manual safety, and a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver or Picatinny-style optic rails.
