The SIG Sauer 1911 Max is a Custom Shop competition pistol designed with input from world speed shooting champion Max Michel Jr. Its single-stack, all-steel platform combines a five-inch barrel with a Nitron-finished stainless slide and natural stainless frame. Competition-focused features include forward cocking serrations, 26 lines-per-inch front-strap checkering, a SIG Sauer flat trigger, external extractor, Koenig Speed Hammer, EGW sear and firing pin, and a Dawson Ice Magwell. Hogue G10 Chainlink grips with custom MM logos provide a secure, aggressive surface, while the fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight support fast target acquisition.
