The SIG Sauer P226 Elite is a full-size 9mm pistol with the proven P226 operating system and a durable Blue/Black finish. Its double-action design combines a longer first trigger pull with lighter single-action follow-up shots, while the decocking lever allows the hammer to be safely lowered without firing. The pistol features a 4.4-inch barrel, 15+1 capacity, SIGLITE night sights, an aluminum alloy frame, aluminum grip panels, and SIG Sauer's Short Reset Trigger for a shorter reset between shots. Two magazines are included.

Love my new Sig! I...
Love my new Sig! I chose the Sig 226 Elite because the gun feels good in the hand; very ergonomic and balanced. I chose the Platinum Elite because I think it's the sexiest looking gun out there. In my opinion, the SRT is not a viable selling point. Does it deliver on its promise of a shorter reset? Yes, however I've noticed that after dealing with the recoil and getting back on target, my finger has already reverted back to a full trigger release. I don't do any speed target shooting, so maybe that's the arena where the SRT will shine through. I would highly recommend this gun.

Fit and finish is...
Fit and finish is superb,the gun feels very natural in my hands becuase of the aluminum grips and it balances out very well and Im definitely a fan of it's SRT enhancement,a huge plus is the Beavertail grip for my oversized hands,all around a great gun.I love this gun but she will be a safe queen.I have ordered her plain jane counterpart so I can shoot this model.
