The Springfield Armory 1911 TRP AOS is a full-size 9mm pistol built on a forged carbon steel frame and slide, with a hand-fitted configuration designed for dependable performance and precise handling. Its five-inch forged stainless steel match-grade barrel uses a fully supported ramp and a 1:16 twist. The Black Cerakote finish provides a durable, low-glare exterior, while the integral accessory rail supports compatible lights and lasers. The Agency Optic System allows the use of several popular red dot footprints, and each optic plate incorporates a black serrated rear sight for a practical co-witnessing sight picture. Tritium front illumination, top slide serrations, 20 lines-per-inch frontstrap checkering, and VZ Hydra G10 grips provide confident control in varied lighting and shooting conditions. The pistol includes a two-piece magwell, a two-piece National Match full-length guide rod, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a grip safety.
