Its forged carbon-steel slide rides on a forged stainless-steel frame, while the five-inch hammer-forged barrel provides a durable foundation for regular range use and carry applications. A traditional recoil spring assembly and barrel bushing preserve the familiar 1911 operating system. The tactical rack rear sight and fiber optic front sight provide a clear sight picture, while the single-sided thumb safety and grip safety support deliberate, controlled operation. Checkered wood grips complete the traditional profile.

Yep.... Buy it if you can....This is a gem.\r Have some older original Dan Wessons and the Ronin is much better.\r Have a 1911 Ed Brown and the Springfield Ronin is just as good with\r almost the same precision of the Brown.
