Product Overview
The Springfield Armory XD-S 4.0 Essential is a compact single-stack .45 ACP pistol designed for concealed carry and range use. Its four-inch barrel provides a useful balance of concealability, sight radius, and controllability, while the textured polymer grip supports a secure hold. The striker-fired action incorporates both a trigger safety and a grip safety. A flush-fit magazine provides a 5+1 capacity, and the included extended magazine increases capacity to 7+1 for practice and improved handling.

Love the looks of this...
Love the looks of this gun. Feels great in my hand. Reliability is awesome. Bud's was good and on time. I struggle with shooting Springfields accurately for some reason, but my kid can hit anything with this pistol. So I am still happy to give it 5 stars, as my only complaint is probably my lack of skill!

I've bought several of these variations and well worth the money. Very good shooters as well. You really can't go wrong with a Springfield. As always, Buds was awesome.
