The Standard Manufacturing 1911 is a full-size .45 ACP pistol built around a CNC-machined 4140 carbon steel frame and slide made from forgings. Its five-inch stainless steel match-grade barrel, match bushing, and enhanced slide-to-frame fit support consistent accuracy, while the lowered and flared ejection port promotes reliable cycling. A gold Titanium Nitride PVD coating provides a hardened, corrosion-resistant surface with a low coefficient of friction. High-profile low-mount tactical sights, a solid match-grade trigger with a 4.5-pound pull, and an enhanced machined hammer complete the performance-focused configuration. Hardwood grips, a checkered front strap, flat mainspring housing, upswept beavertail grip safety, extended magazine release, and extended tactical thumb safety provide secure handling and practical control.

Glaring finish defect...
Glaring finish defect on a gun that's ALL about the finish. Very disappointed to say the least, but Buds is replacing with a good one or refunding , no problem. Fit felt nice, unfired of course, magazine seemed a bit primitive, old school at least, I'd prefer a couple Chip McCormick 8 rnd. RPM mags (for the price of the gun) with matching high polish PVD gold treatment like the gun.
