The Tisas 1911 Duty is a full-size 9mm pistol that modernizes the classic Government-pattern 1911 while retaining its familiar single-action format and Series 70 internals. Its hammer-forged steel slide and frame provide a durable foundation, while front and rear slide serrations support reliable manipulation. The pistol features a lowered and flared ejection port, skeletonized hammer and trigger, and an ambidextrous extended manual safety. Low-profile 3-dot sights in a Novak-style cut provide a clear sight picture for practical range use. It includes two magazines, a cleaning kit, owner’s manual, and a lockable waterproof hard case with fitted foam.

I received the Tisas...
I received the Tisas 9mm duty and I have to say I was impressed with the fit and finish. I broke it down, found a spic and span clean gun, except for the oil a 1911 is supposed to have. Took it out and ran 100 rounds thru it with out a hic up, not one. I shot it off hand at 7 and 10 yards, it shot a tad low. I really can't say that's a major fault of the gun. All in all I've paid 2 and 3 times this amount for other 1911's and have not been as well pleased as I am with this Tisas. Thanks to Bud's for a speedy delivery and Merry Christmas to all.
