This is a beautiful,...
This is a beautiful, solid, well made handgun. I love that Walther was able to get licensing from Colt for the design and Colt Logos on the gun. The gun comes apart for cleaning quite easily. I always clean my new guns before firing them, and I did thoroughly clean it and lubricate the slide, with maybe not the best oil. Took it to the range for the first time with my son and we put about 200 rounds of "Remington Thunderbolt .22 LR 40 Grain Lead Round Nose" through it. The gun performed very well, but we did have at least 2 occurrences where the spent casing got lodged in the slide as it ejected, preventing the next round from chambering. The only other issue is that the 10 round magazine occasionally struggled to hold 10 rounds. At least 3 times we had a misfeed because the ammo doesn't really want to single stack very well, especially if you load 10 rounds. We never had a problem with misfeeds when we loaded 9 rounds or less. These issues were pretty minor and I honestly kind of expected. I believe the issues can be overcome by either using higher quality ammo or keeping the slide lubricated with quality oil and perhaps loading 9 rounds or less in the magazine. I'm happy with the purchase.

This gun shot right in target out of the box! Field stripping and reassembly is a little tough, but after watching a YouTube video I was able to manage. Shot lead round nose from Federal without any trouble. I surely recommend this 1911 22lr to anyone wanting to practice their shooting skills!

This gun is awesome! Trigger is very nice, barely a reset and just crazy fun to shoot and not spend a ton of money on ammo! Also to make it even fore fun,Taylor tactical has mag extenders for this to make it 16 rounds and they work great with these mags!
