The American Tactical GSG 522-SD is a .22 LR semi-automatic rifle that combines familiar tactical styling with economical rimfire operation. It features an aluminum upper receiver, polymer lower receiver, ribbed handguard, and a large SD-style barrel shroud. The fixed A2-style synthetic stock provides a stable shoulder position, while the textured pistol grip improves handling. An integrated Weaver rail supports the addition of compatible optics. The rifle also includes an ambidextrous manual safety, distinctive front sight, wide magazine release paddle, and integrated sling bracket.
