Product Overview
The FN SCAR 17S is a .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO semi-automatic rifle built around a gas-operated short-stroke piston system. Its interchangeable free-floating hammer-forged barrel features a hard-chromed bore and a birdcage-style muzzle brake. The rifle includes folding hooded front and adjustable rear sights, an integrated MIL-STD 1913 top rail, and additional side and bottom rails for mounting optics and accessories. An ambidextrous manual safety, reversible reciprocating charging handle, and ambidextrous magazine release support flexible operation. The side-folding polymer stock adjusts for comb height and length of pull while reducing the rifle's folded length to 28.5 inches.

Best gun I have ever...
Best gun I have ever fired. If you are debating between the SCAR 16 and 17, get this one. Shoots very smoothly and accurately. You can use this gun for anything if you just put the right optics on it. When I bought this, it was around $100 less than the 20 round version of the same gun. Not sure why. I bought it along with a 20 round mag for less than the one that comes with a 20 round mag. I advise you do that. This gun is very well made and I absolutely love shooting it.
