Product Overview
The Springfield Armory Hellion is a compact bullpup rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and compatible with .223 Remington ammunition. Its 16-inch Melonite-finished barrel and short-stroke piston system deliver a full-length rifle configuration in a compact package measuring 28.25 to 29.75 inches, depending on stock adjustment. The Desert FDE model features ambidextrous controls, reversible case ejection, a non-reciprocating charging handle, an adjustable gas system, and a five-position stock with cheek riser. An integrated top rail provides a solid mounting platform for an optic, while integrated flip-up sights are ready for immediate use.

Well what can I say,...
Well what can I say, another quality Springfield product! Funky looking gun that operates with a familiarity that is easy to learn. Take down very easy and almost intuitive, internally all parts machined well. So far no FTF or hang ups. I agree with a couple of GunTubers, for a bull pup, trigger aint bad!! Aint great as on my Saint Victor, but better than a stock Glock! Lol! Buds surprised me though, they model they sent was the one I thought they were out of! Can not complain about Buds price, saved about $200 off my local area retail price at the only place who could get the FDE model ordered in, a medium sized chain farm and ranch supply outlet who will not do transfers. The only complaint I have is my timing. Stupid Federal and Banking holidays!! FYI when they say 5-7 business days for funds verification, they ain't kidding! D'oh!! Shipping, same story.
