The Mossberg 940 Pro Thunder Ranch is a 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun configured with an 18.5-inch cylinder bore barrel and 7+1 capacity. Its redesigned gas-operating system is built for cleaner operation, while nickel-boron-coated internal components including the gas piston, magazine tube, hammer, and sear help resist corrosion and reduce maintenance demands. The aluminum receiver and barrel feature a Patriot Brown Cerakote finish, complemented by an adjustable self-draining synthetic stock and slim synthetic forend. The stock offers a 12.5- to 14.25-inch length-of-pull range along with drop-at-comb and cast adjustment. An optic-cut receiver supports direct installation of a Shield RMSc-footprint microdot, and the included cover plate preserves the receiver profile when an optic is not installed. A fiber optic front sight, QD sling mounting ports, dual-sided M-LOK-compatible barrel-clamp slots, enlarged loading port, and extended controls complete the Thunder Ranch configuration.
