Excellent gun, this is the type of gun that my work uses so I ordered the same thing so I can get additional range time and get more comfortable with the weapon.

The Sig Sauer P229 DAK is a well crafted weapon that would serve a police officer on duty or private citizen for concealed carry. The double-action only foundation provides experienced and novice shooters with a great gun which works well for home defense, target shooting, or the rigors of law enforcement. The DAK (Double Action Kellerman) concept is great for those of us who started shooting with old fashioned wheel guns and then went towards Glock as a duty weapon. The lack of an exposed hammer or decocking lever makes the DAK models a model that is well received and safe for those who do not have professional firearms training and experience. I recommend, without hesitation.
