No it is not. Telescoping stock, threaded barrel, and flash hider to go along with the pistol grip, too many 'evil' features. Although Paul is correct that this is a compensator (not pinned, muzzle threaded 1/2 x 28), it is a flash suppressing compensator, and any device that claims to supress flash, compensator or not, is illegal in NJ. Donnell, guns like this are easily made NJ compliant by having the stock pinned and changing muzzle device to muzzle brake and having it pinned/welded. You'd be better off checking local gun shops in your area, guaranteed they have carbines like this in stock & NJ compliant.

Unfortunately this is not new jersey compliant/legal. To many banned features. Hope this helps.

Just an FYI Randy this features a pinned Compensator which is not a banned feature. no even though it is pinned it is still a flash suppressor (banned) telescoping stock (banned) and a pistol Grip(banned ) any 2 of which make it illegal

What can I say about this rifle? Well lets see: it is arguably the best piston AR currently made and it isnt that much more expensive than a nice DI, it weighs the same as a quality DI gun, it comes with BCM furniture and a full MLOK rail so it wont need much upgrading if any, it has top tier materials and coatings used for every part so its durable, it has the best buffer tube design on the market today, it has a pretty good (a little heavy at 6lbs) trigger from factory (looks like an ALG trigger), it has a great adjustable gas block so you can run suppressed very well (though it doesnt have a "more gas" feature for a dirty gun so thats a minus), it is a great middle ground between an AK and an AR, overall I believe this AR is what ARs should have always been, I got tired of diagnosing the DI issues and having rifles work fine one day and malfunction the next for no apparent reason so switched to PWS for the rifles that count and absolutely need to work when I pick them up. Buds gave me a smoking deal on this rifle and got it to me fast, my overall experience has been A+ and I highly recommend that if you have the money you get at least one PWS rifle in your arsenal.
