Hevi-Shot HEVI-XII 12 Gauge Ammo 1 1/4 oz #4 25 Round Box

I found myself needing to make longer than normal shots on ducks so I began studying loads and choke solutions. The standard steel shot was good for up to about 45-50 yds. I looked at various more dense pellet material when I remembered Hevi-shot. Knowing the density was up there, I ordered these Hevi XII loads in a #4 shot. I found they patterned well with my choke tube at 50 yds +. Now I have a decent long range load and choke combo that will deliver the energy I need on the 50+ yd shots. They are expensive per round, but 50+ yd shots are a not the common, every duck you see shell. I put these in the mag first so my third shot is in the long range bracket when needed. Less cripples, less shells, reasonable cost per duck.
