Shoots very soft with medium springs installed using 2 3/4 dr 1 1/8oz loads (with steel base). Had several stovepipes, would recommend brass-based and/or 3dr loads. My son’s 1100 has same issue, brass 3dr only for reliable cycling. And yes, I keep my guns clean and lubed properly. Stock-to-receiver fit is not perfect but hey, I bought it to shoot, not caress and criticize.
For the money, I feel it’s a good value. The adjustable stock is one of the main reasons I went with this gun. I can lower the butt plate and adjust the comb to get a good fit. Feel like I could shoot it all day with no soreness. I’m thin and got tired of my cz beating me up after 75-100 rounds.
Buds was excellent as always, I used the ach transfer option which worked smoothly. Will be back for next gun!

A:I can only assume that it is a typo by one of the Buds Gun Shop staff members. This is a competition gun so they probably inserted compact instead of competition. Sometimes the titles differ from the description. It's just mistakes that Bud's Gun Shop has to clean up. Because it cannot be a compact with a 30 inch barrel. I know the bus stock can be adjusted a bit but not to make it compact. So like I said, they probably just meant to put competition instead of the word compact. That is the only thing that I can think about at this moment. I hope this helps. Oh, I forgot to add this part. We are not Buds Gun Shop employees. We are simply fellow shoppers assisting each other. -

A:While I am sure that buds has them on order there is no way of knowing when it will be back in stock. I suggest that you use the notify me button. Buds will email you when they are back in stock This in no way obligates you to purchase the item. We are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questionsSee 1 more answer | -

A:Susan - AS we have no access to Bud's records on incoming merchandise, no onen here can answer your question accurately. I've also found these are out-of-stock at all my 'go to' firearms dealers on the internet. So, I suggest you call Remington Firearms directly at 1-800-243-9700 (Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Eastern time.) and ask them if they can direct you to a dealer either in your area, or on line, who has these in stock. Good luck, and wish you well in the upcoming surgery.See 4 more answers | -

A:I just recently bought the Remington 1100 comp and the recoil system is super, shooting 12 ga loads was like shooting 410 loads in my o/u tube set. I have a Beretta 391 sporting and 5 Remington 1100s (including the 1100 comp) I also worked at a skeet range that had berettas and 1100s as rental guns and while the 1100s needed more frequent maintenance (cleaning and o rings) they were easier and less expensive to fix when they had problems. Remington would send us parts Beretta always wanted us to send in the gun. The only draw back (for me) with the Remington is that I could not get it with an 28 inch barrel and it does not come with a hard case like the berettasSee 1 more answer | -
