I have 9 mm guns from 4 different manufacturers and NONE of them have ramped barrels now all of my 40 cal 1911s do have ramped barrels I need to try mu AA conversion kit on my 2 40 cal 1911s and see if it works on them I know my AA kit works on all of my 9mm all of my .45acps (except the officers) and it also works on my 38 super 1911 the barrel on the Advantage arms conversion kit is a ramped barrel so it does not matter if the frame has a ramp or not

Nope Shaun. Most 9mm 1911's have a ramped barrel and will not work with the conversion kits as they are made for guns with the ramp in the frame. For another 1/3rd the cost of these 22LR kits(which usually require tweaking to make reliable), you can likely get an almost exact 1911 in 22 caliber from GSG, Sig Sauer and ATI than buying the conversion set and likely not have near as many headaches as well.

Goood question. If it only says 45 then I would say not to the 9mm. It is possible it will work but I’m not going to lie and say it will. You should call ATI.

It should work. The only difference in the frames is the ramp and the 22 feeds from the magazine so it's not used.

If you are looking for a decent .22 conversion kit.LOOK AT SOMETHING OTHER THAN GSG/ATI. FIRST time out gun shot 7" high at 30 yards with tallest front sight installed called ati i could have just as well went in a empty closet and had a more intelligent conversation.Well i thought ill just order the proper height dawson precision front sight.Next time out with my new sight then the tabs break off the barrel bushing .Ok here we go again called ati they sent a new metal bushing updated yeh right.The new barrel bushing fit to the barrel is way to loose pretty sure it is a .45 cal bushing.In this deep already ordered a coustom made egw bushing that fits like a glove.To the range we go after a total of 2000 rounds fired the cheap slide lock notch wears out and wont lock slide open on last round fired..Sent it back to ati with a note of all the problems ive had.Sent it back to me with a new slide only.Nothing to address all the other issues or even a explanation .
