Caldwell 336677 Lead Sled Shooting Rest

The best shooting rest I have ever used. I use mine for, cleaning firearms, bore sighting, sighting in on paper and some handicapped long range shooting. I haven't found a more versatile rest for the money. Great product!!

Surprisingly heavy, but definitely stable and easy to adjust. I never got used to the squared off piece of metal that goes in-between the butt plate and your shoulder. I know if you removed that it wouldn't be able to help tame recoil, but I'd prefer it wasn't there. I was hoping it'd help hold the rifle still and remove shooter mistakes from load development, but I can keep a smaller group with a front bipod and squeeze bag. This is excellent for boresighting a scope though.

This is a very good bench rest sled. I have 2- 25# bags of lead installed on it when shooting my 300 win mag. Lead bags do wonders for the large calibers. Bud's service, as always, was great.

I'm very happy with this DFT 2 Caldwell led sled. I used it to mount my scope on my AR15. It worked fabulous.
