This is the tool I was talking about. Would the knife be able to cut through braided line? I will be using at least 30mpound line and heavier. I asked earlier but I did it incorrectly. Sorry.

Conrad. That is what this tool is made for. You probably have the a tool that will cut wire already in your tool box. All it is is a needle nose plier with wire cutter and other options.

Braided line wont be an issue. It is tough but this tool should work just fine. Berkeley makes good stuff.
