Great quality revolver, smooth action, lock up and trigger pull. Only negative is that the grip feels very cheap and doesn’t look very good, but the overall look and feel is great! Ordered a pair of grips for replacement, other than that no complaints! 4 clicks and an antique El Dorado finish. That’s what I wanted!

Love the antiqued finish. Grips are supposed to look like aged ivory, but don't quite make the grade. They're ok, but will either age them with dye or buy some new ones. I was trying to decide between this model and the Uberti Rooster Shooter, but I like the 4-click Pietta's and they are always range ready right out of the box. I ended up buying a 2nd one.

Beautiful Revolver! Absolutely in love with This Pietta Great Western ll Rooster cogburn in .45 Lc. Finish is top notch, Action is crisp and the 4 colt clicks are distinct and crisp. Timing is perfect and no slop or play in cylinder. Only negative is the grips.
