Great look and feel and the trigger pull is well under 5 lbs. The only thing that was poorly done, the grips so I added a set of Altamont faux ivory and now it is perfect. This girl has a forever home.

For my money, this Pietta model is the best replica Colt 1873 that you can get for Cowboy Action Shooting at any price! Smooth, solid lockup, 4 clicks and nicely finished. I bought a pair, and they both shoot smoothly and accurately. Quite the lookers, too! As always, Bud's was great with their layaway plan and quick shipping!

First off, let me say that this is the first SAA clone I've ever bought. Second, this gun is beautiful and the action is silky-smooth. It's accurate and fun to shoot. That being said, this is way too nice a gun for PLASTIC grips. I had to buy $100 replacement wood grips from NC Ordnance and they don't fit just right. Fantastic gun, craptastic grips.

Oh my gosh, I got a pair of these from Buds And I love them!!!! They are like Colts only better Why you ask? Because they didn't cost a fortune! These are great cowboy guns and I've already been to several matches with them. They never failed me. I did replace a bolt and trigger spring in one with a standard Colt spring. But it was so easy to do and only made it better. You know about them fancy dancey Rugers, well I've witnessed them fail many times already. Not these Pietta's Buds delivery to my FFL was very fast and I'll order from them again. Thanks Buds for helping all of us gun enthusiast collectors, recreational shooters in this trying time in our country.

This was the first Pietta I have purchased and man do I love it! True 4 click hammer, just like the Colt SAA it is meant to mimic. The finish is awesome and it shoots ridiculously accurate for a fixed blade, notched top strap, cowboy style sight. Couldn't be happier with the quality you get for a reasonable price point.

I love this revolver! It did come with some small burs were they drilled the screw points but not a deal breaker. It’s got a good weight to it and it’s comfortable in the hand.
