Worked well as a cheap replacement for a hand guard for a rifle assigned to me through my employer. I didn’t want to invest a lot of money into a rifle I didn’t own and this fit the bill perfectly. I had to shave one end a little bit with a file to make it fit correctly but it was not difficult to do. It was sturdy and never malfunctioned.
