The product is a piece of crap. It does not work well and I would not recommend you waste the money.

The mechanism works well enough, but it does not fit the Smith and Wesson model 60 pro series.

These speed loaders are ok but just OK. They are a little hard to get the bullets to lock into place. I have the S&W Model 642 .38 Special with the rubber grips, and it is difficult to fit the bullets into the cylinder which kind of defeats the purpose of a speed loader. You must really push down on the speed loader to get the bullets to release but with it going in crooked, it's difficult. I would look elsewhere for a good speed loader for the S&W Model 642 with the rubber grips.

While this loader says it will work on t he 5 shot j frame, I have a 642 s&w and I can say it does not work.

Great little speedloaders that travel compactly in my strong hand front pocket. Using speedloaders was something that I thought I'd given up permanently after the agency that I'd worked for went to semi-autos as the issued weapon, some 20 years ago. Now retired, I have a J Frame that goes everywhere when my attire won't conceal the print of a semi-auto. It can be tricky and can feel very awkward until the technique of loading a weapon using speedloaders is repeated a few times. I'd imagine that there's probably even videos online that demonstrate the proper techniques of using speedloaders to reload a revolver cylinder. These can also be a bit tricky to load up rounds into and I would recommend practicing a few times loading and securing rounds in it and also using them to reload a weapon. I find these very efficient and can even reload the speedloaders themselves with more rounds while walking to my next course of fire. I do have a couple of friends that prefer the twist knob speedloaders and those are also fine, but these Safariland are the very compact and the best choice for me.

Seem to be good quality, just doesnt fit. Hangs on cylinder release. Not an issue, have a friend that wants them.

Piece of junk. All plastic, feels flimsy. It locks up tight with some effort, but doesn't release smoothly. Takes two hands and some really firm pressure to release. Decent ammo holder, but more or less worthless as a speed loader.
