This is my second "Henry" and I love them both.

Leave it to Henry to get everything right. Smooth action, fit and finish excellent, & shoots like a dream. Couldn’t get a better hand me down, they last generations.

Very happy with this rifle and brought it to the range for the first time this past weekend. The pump action was slightly stiff at first but I cleaned it and lubricated it with some Clenzoil and actuated the pump about 100 times then went to the range. The action has loosened up considerably and is very smooth. You do need to actuate it firmly and with authority but that is the way it's supposed to be. The .22 Long Rifle rounds functioned flawlessly. If it's going to jam or fail to eject, it's with the .22 short rounds due to the short casing length making it easier for the round to get stuck. A few of the .22 Short rounds did get caught in the action but i did get them out pretty easily with a needle nose plier. The jams with the .22 short were most likely caused by me not actuating the pump action firmly enough to eject the short casing. As far as accuracy, the buckhorn sights were pretty much dead on accurate right out of the box and i didn't need to adjust them at all. At 50 yards using 40 grain copper plated soft point long rifle off-the shelf ammo most of the 30 or 40 rounds were within a 3.5" inch circle and i'm not a great marksmen and haven't used buckhorn sights before. A scope would definitely help tighten that group up but I kind of like having just the open sights. I might also consider putting a Skinner peep sight in the future but for now the stock sights are fine. This is a .22 pump action rifle and is obviously not a precision varmint rifle but it is definitely reasonably accurate and a lot of fun to shoot. It's more accurate than I am so don't take my results as definitive. This is also a very nice looking rifle and a couple of folks at the range complimented on it. The wood stock and pump are somewhat darker than the picture on the website but they are very pleasing in appearance. The rifle arrived in perfect condition with absolutely no nicks, dings or an imperfections in the stock, pump, octagon barrel or any other part of the rifle. Great piece and am very satisfied the purchase.

Only bought it, because my father missed the gallery guns that used to be on the Pier in New Jersey years ago unfortunately he passed away before he could shoot it. I love this rifle. Yes it was stiff at first but a tiny bit of oil and it is smooth as silk. Dead on accurate out of the box. So much fun for my backyard plinking range. I have the rossi, too and this rifle is worth the extra $ for the boost in quality materials and the octagonal barrel is just sexy as hell.

This Henry Pump Action 22 Is so sweet. I can shoot almost as fast as a Semi-Automatic. I Mounted a Scope on it and now the varmints take cover when I bring it with me when I take it with me on my property to check things out I don't miss with this Rifle , be it a Gopher, Squirrel, Woodchuck, or Coyote. This Gun is so balanced when bringing it up to aim and smooth action as I pump in another round. American Made with Quality. I Love It.

Henry has a very smooth action, to me that means a lot and Buds Gun Shop gets it to you in short time, so you can enjoy it.

this review is for a henry 22lr pump octg brl H003T. purchased on buds feb 2021. 1st let me thank buds for being able to make this transaction happen in the middle of the whole world falling apart (sort of).
this is my 3rd henry ( 357 bb steel, 44 bbsteel). this fine little pump came without a blemish very nice blue octg barrel and nice furniture. i did read previous reviews about the stiff action... on the pump...they were right on point. so i gave it 400 cycles before going to the range , taking care to let the hammer down easy to as to avoid peening on empty chamber... the pump resistance is a bit more than i expected out of the box, and thats why i gave it a pre work in. went to the range and fired 500 rounds of my precovid supply of .05 per round cci . still pretty stiff ( when my son was 12, i got him a rem 572 and it never needed a personal trainer and such to be just right)...(he’s 37 now and the 572 is still like new). thanks Mr henry for a pump that no one else is making in this quality and finish right now... its a pretty rifle and makes me feel nostalgic and all for a gallery 22.... i just wish it wasn’t so darned stiff. i only have 6000 rounds of 22lr left and i rather not exhaust this rare stockpile to break in this darlin lil henry pump. it does fire and feed ok.

The Henry H003T pump action rifle is very accurate and operation is very smooth like my other Henry Rifles. The fit and finish are excellent.

I’ve been looking for a little gallery gun for awhile now. Could have bought the Rossi Gallery but really didn’t want all the plastic! Very happy with this little 22, the action is loosening up with use and a good cleaning. Very fun to shoot, fast and accurate! Service from Buds was great again!

Hard to find pump action .22's. Buds has in stock at best priced retailed for highly expensive limited pump action models in .22 LR

Long ago my great Uncle gave me a gallery rifle he got from one of his Carnival friends. It shot only 22 shorts. It was a Winchester 62. I was in love with that little rifle until it was stolen. When I saw the ad for this Henry Pump, I saved up and ordered one. I love this little rifle. The action is extremely smooth and I have not had any feed failures out of about 400 rounds of all sizes of ammo. The fit and finish of the gun is above reproach with beautiful grain in the wood both on the stock as well as the action operator. The metal finish is extraordinary and is very well done as well. The wood to metal fit work is excellent. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to one and all. As has been my experience with Bud's on many orders, the handling of the this order was also very well handled.

Nobody makes as nice a rifle as Henry. Beautiful and high quality firearm.

I have an unusual story here. When the gun arrived at the FFL, neither he nor I could operate it. I thought I could just figure it out by reading the operating instructions. No dice. I got in touch with Henry and they said to send it back, even paid for shipping. In about two weeks I got it back. It is really fun to shoot. Henry is a great company with superb customer service. Much better than the old shooting gallery guns. A real tack-driver. If Henry was a public company, I'd buy their stock.

These are cool little guns, but have some short comings. The finish is nice, with the octagonal barrel and bluing with walnut stock. Thats all nice, but the trigger guard is made of a cheap plastic and the reciever is an alloy which I dont mind but the finish they use on it scratches very easily. Overall the finish was good though, the pump action is smooth but stiff. Another thing I didnt care for was the way the bolt comes back into your hand, you meed to use a low hold or a straight thumb hold or youll get bit by the bolt when you pump. My rossi pump doesnt do this as the bolt rises when its pumped. The third and biggest problem to me was accuracy was honestly mediocre. My rossi shoots twice as good and cost half as much. I own alot of other 22 rifles as well and this one shoots the worst. Even my 10/22 I have 10s of thousands of rounds through still shoots better. Overall im just not very impressed with the rifle. Especially for the $400 price tag. The biggest benefit I can see for these is they are available in 22 magnum and 17 hmr, which most pumps are not.

The only problem was they didn't have it in stock like the web said. It had to be shipped to BUDS or an authorized ffl dealer, which I did and paid another fee to do so. Gun came in great shape as explained. I received less than a week later. Overall very satisfied. It is fun to shoot and shoots well.
