yes it has the e2 grips recently sig stopped shipping the E2 removal tool but when I called them they sent the tool free of charge

I've shot this P229 several times now and I like it better each time I go to the range. I really like the sights and it is more accurate than any of my other pistols. The grip is very comfortable in my hand and the recoil isn't felt too much. Thus far, it has fired every round of various ammo (the good stuff to some cheap ones), with no misfires or feeding problems. Sig Sauer made a darn good pistol! Highly recommended. Mine is a 9mm, but the other most popular pistols calibers are also available.

The action was a little rough on this 229, but it ran flawless and smoothed out. Somewhere along the line it seems that Sig changed the sights to impact at the front sight dot. My other 229 and M11-A1 both impact at the top of the sight... this one shoots low.

I own a P226 and absolutely love the reliability, accuracy, controls and just overall ease of use. The size for concealed carry wasn't exactly ideal. I am very pleased with the P229 and my experience with Buds. Ran 250 rounds though it last weekend with expected results, flawless!

Thank You Bud's I used to envy those High-Falootin SIG guys at the range, now I am one.'Cause I like Single Action Revolver, I love the trigger on this P229. Lately I have been adding new sights and triggers to guns. None of that with a SIG SAUER. Lovely gun and shoots great. I just bought a Preowned P229 .40 S&W Cal. Couldn't say no to that. Oh and great price on both.

This is an amazing deal on a very high quality handgun. My local gun store offered the p229 at over 900. Even with transfer fees and background check I saved over a 100 buying with buds. Shooting the p229 is a joy. The action is incredibly smooth and the 4 inch barrel is plenty accurate. The handle is very ergonomic and the controls easily manipulated without changing my grip. The trigger also has a positive reset with an audible click that is a great cue for follow up shots. My only negative is that my thumb can brush against the slide release and it fails to lock back at the end of a mag occasionally. That's more due to the particulars of my grip than anything with the gun.

This is my first purchase from buds and won't be my last. The 5 day wait for funds to clear is a bit annoying but actual shipping was faster than advertised. After funds cleared it arrived to my ffl on the second day. Now about the firearm.... the grips are amazing!!!!! I mean this thing forms to your hand like you're born with it. Sight radius is fantastic. But the trigger is smooth as silk. I mean for a DA/SA you will not find a better out of the box trigger on any firearm. I mainly shoot h&k but man shooting this sig I'll definitely be switching brands. I'm already looking at getting the 357 x change kit for it. All in all I give this a solid 10

Sig P229 does not disappoint.Picked it up at the ffl and went straight to range.Fired 400 rounds without one hiccup.Excellent shooter.Proved to me that it will do it's job without any problem.

"Make an offer" is incredible. By far the best deal I've seen, including used. The gun itself is awesome. If you're looking at this, odds are you already know. Two 15 round mags included. No night sights, but for the price, add some and still save money. Very happy customer. Still deciding whether or not to add the SRT trigger system. Though the trigger is not bad at all.
