it's heavy. I'm 57 years old and lift 50 lb boxes all day long..it's heavy in 2 hands. It is sweet to fire. Due to the fact it is heavy..the recoil was like a .45 1911. It is NOT an everyday carry but in 30 30 caliber it will definitely stop most things in it's tracks. ;)

BFR 30-30 shoots wonderful fit and finish is perfect would definitely buy another about the same recoil is about 44 Meg Installed a Super Blackhawk grip 8400 .
