Used Surplus CZ75B 9mm 15+1 Fair - 15+1 Rounds

I ordered a fair cz 75b and received a good condition 75bd police. I was hoping for that model and i was very surprised at how minimal the wear was. Looks to have some new internal parts and everything functions fine. A very accurate pistol and after polishing the barrel and some cgw parts it's smoother than a brand new stock cz. Fast shipping and when i called Bud's about the magazine being trashed they got back to me in a couple days saying they shipped another one, which was a newer mec-gar mag. Overall Im very satisfied and will be buying from Bud's exclusively for firearms going forward. This was my first purchase from Bud's and i was very happy to get one of these surplus cz's while they were still here..

I had heard about the CZ 75B and how it was a good shooter so I decided to take a chance on this pistol because I needed to buy a project gun to refurbish and refinish. I picked it up and inspected it and I was very pleased with the overall condition of the pistol. The finish is Black Polycoat and it showed significant wear on the slide and frame, the crown of the barrel had a significant dent (and I wondered if it affected the accuracy), the grips had been sawed off to acommodate a lanyard pin and the grips were worn smooth, the front and rear sights were intact but the white dots were missing the paint. After a complete disassembly and functions check I took it to the range where I was very surprised with the accuracy and performance of the pistol, after firing I had no reservations about completely restoring this pistol. The first thing I did was replace the lanyard pin with a standard CZ 75B pin and bought a set of Green and Black Micarta tactile grips. What remains on this project: 1) I am recrowning the barrel to take out the dent, 2) I am replacing the sights with CZ comp HiViz front sight and the 1911 style Novak competition rear sight, 3) I am bead blasting the whole gun and Cerakoting the finish and probably going with a jungle brown/green to match the new grips. There is nothing that needs to be done to the action and the trigger and they both perform perfectly. It should be a pretty sweet looking shooter when I get finished, and well worth the price I paid for the pistol and it makes for a nice project.

Buds first sent me a 75. Their customer service is efficient and excellent. The replacement order was exactly what I was hoping for...a 75 BD Police. The wearing is what I expected but not an issue since I'm going to have her refinished or polished. I'm going to order another one.

I am pleased with this CZ purchase. It was somewhat rougher than I would call a fair condition. But I plan on doing an overall anyway. Did have to cut off the chain post loop that was used to keep the from sneaking off too far so I could install customer grips. Again, no big deal. At this price for a CZ, I'm happy.. Bud's shipped fast as they usually do. Excellent company to do business with .

Ok got a CZ75 BD which was better than fair more along the line of good very happy. everything checks out, shoots great, and now it is being refinished. already ordered new grips and sights. Thinking about getting the Cz75 in poor to restore and add to the collection. Buds service as usual is always top notch.

The gun I received was as described except equipped with a decocker, which I wanted. It has some honest wear, but was not beat up. The gun was pretty clean inside and out. The supplied 16 round mag did require a little attention around the baseplate to seat more easily. The weapon is very accurate and liked my reloads , though I only put about 64 rounds through it. The double action was smooth and the single action was nice and crisp. Buds was easy to deal with and shipping was fast. I would do it again, no regrets! David.

I received a 75BD police with the decocker in fair condition. It is not a 75B with safety. It has holster wear so beware. Its an awesome used weapon for the price. I fired 100 rounds through it before cleaning or lubing. Went bang every time and is extremely accurate. Sights were badly faded and the rear sight was off. After adjusting rear sights i couldnt miss silhouette target 20 yds out. I have factory sights on the way. The barrel is in great shape and the da/sa is smooth. One of the best SA pistol triggers ive ever felt. I might order me another one. Buy one now before its too late.

I have not been to the range with this CZ75BD yet. I traded 2 guns that I would not use in the future with Gurney and with a small added charge received a FAIR CZ75BD. When you buy a 'Used Surplus' handgun you are rolling the dice. When you purchase a FAIR handgun you know that you will probably get one that you won't be happy with finish or some other aspect. Expecting much less, what I received has wear down to bare metal on less than 1% of the finish. Internals actually looked like the pistol had never been fired. I'm sure that it has because the barrel cleaning indicated that powder had burned there before. Overall I am totally pleased with my trade. A CZ75 is a handgun that everyone should have. I have a 2 Turkish clones of this handgun which I really love (my favorite handguns to this point). It is the reason that I had to have the gun that paved the way. I am incredibly happy with my purchase from Buds. As soon as my trade was consummated it came 2-day. Nothing about my dealings with Gurney/Buds would give me pause in dealing with them again, and again. If I am allowed to give an addendum to this review I will after taking this addition to my collection to the range. I am not a very good shot (60 years on this planet so my eyes aren't what they used to be) so I will be able to tell you if this classic makes my groupings a little bit tighter. I think it will. Get one before they are gone.......................Dan
