This is the light weight Carbon Fiber SRC chambered in 5.56 NATO and features a carbon fiber composite receivers (Molded carbon fiber composite receiver, 40%), a 16" chrome lined barrel with a 1:9 twist, a flat top upper and M4 style hand guards.   No, when stock runs out it is out until it's restocked Carl. There are exactly 9 of these in stock as of this reply. Usually a couple of weeks to a month is the turnaround.

  The Windham has a half pound average lighter trigger pull, but these rifles are dead even when it comes to function and reliability. This will be a coin flip that you can't lose with either rifle. Choose the one that "Appeals" to your eye and get to the range.

• Q: Would budsgunshop be willing to ship to a FFL dealer in another state to be modified for compliance with NJ; then, have that dealer ship to my local FFL dealer?

  Unless that FFL will be the purchaser, it can't be done. That FFL would need to be the original buyer, then modify it and resell it to you.

• Q: I purchased the Windham AR but received a email saying they can't ship it to new jersey. It was being sent to a local FFL dealer that was going to remove the A2 flash hider and put on a NJ complaint stock as well as remove the bayonet holder in the front; why can't it be shipped there when it is illegal for him to give it to me without having that done?

• Q: When I looked at this AR a few weeks ago the price was $399. I foolishly neglected to buy that day. Since that time I have seen the price vary from just under $700 to $450 to today's price of $600. Why is it fluctuating so much? Will it drop to $399 again?

  We actually price our guns off of our current cheapest replacement cost today....and not what we paid for the guns yesterday (or last week or month) as most retailers do. Our policy and assumption has always been that customers could really care less what we paid for the gun, that's our problem, they want to pay whatever the current best price is for the gun right now. Therefore, our website price can fluctuate, and sometimes significantly, as a result of one of our suppliers raising or lowering their price. We do provide the free Norton Price Protection Guarantee to every customer so they can claim up to $100 if the price drops within 30 days after purchasing from us. Of course if the price goes up AFTER you make your purchase ?.....good for you ! :)
