  Daniel, yes it is suitable for deer hunting. 7.62×39 will reliably kill a deer at 200 yards and black bear at 100 yards. With a scoped bolt-action or AR rifle, it is capable of sub-moa groups with good ammo, and 3-moa groups with steel cased ammo. 7.62×39 is faster and flatter shooting than a 30/30, and has a similar max hunting distance.

  Yes, Kevin, standard AR-15 lower. Standard upper too, but the barrel and bolt are different than standard, to accommodate the 7.63X39 ammo. You can use any standard AR-15 rifle caliber upper on this lower - You will need a different bolt carrier group for some calibers, and they usually come with the uppers in the 'non-223/5.56" caliber uppers. With a bolt and barrel, you could build a 6.5 Grendel on this lower, for example, or a 300 Blackout.

  Randy, this is not a "Low Profile" Gas Block as it is the same height for a front sight as the rear receiver Picatinny Rail.
• Q: Will a 9 inch M-Lock handguard cover the gas block on this 7.62x39 carbine?

• Q: I just purchased my SRC 762 AND AM considerung getting sights both hard and optical , red dot etc... , so may I get some recomendations for this weapon?

  James, I would look into some Mag-Pul flip up BUIS for sights and depending on your budget, a Primary Arms ACSS reticle red dot sight. This is specifically calibrated for the 7.62x39 round and comes in multiple magnifications.
