Daniel, this rifle is a "Long Action" Rifle chambered in 25-06 Caliber.

Is the barrel threaded?

Yes Fernando, this has a "Threaded Barrel" that is (5/8"-24 thread pattern).

I was wondering if the barrel on this model is 18" which is listed in the description or if the barrel is 22" like most of the American Predator models.

This listing is incorrect by Buds Matt. This rifle comes with a 22" Barrel I will notify Buds.

I cant find in writing where it has a 22 inch barrel ruger does not list a pred American in 25-06 but they list the .308 as a 18 inch barrel Buds listing has no upc and I cant find this gun listed elsewhere I suggest that you call ruger to check it out before you buy Telephone: 336-949-5200

Took to the range today to do 20 round break in cycle and sight it in using factory ammo. After break in I had a hole in the center of the target so I can only imagine how good it is going to do with hand loads. Don't pass this one up.

First let me say that I own a LOT of rifles, Ruger Number 1s, Browning X-bolts and BLRs, Tikka T3Xs, Savage 16s and 11s, just to name a very few of them. This Ruger American Predator is one of the least expensive of all and is one of the most accurate. I was at the range today shooting 1/2 MOA groups with this rifle using Federal Premium 117gr. Sierra GameKings. That says it all, but for your own sake don't hesitate, I believe this particular rifle has been discontinued by Ruger so buy it while you can. I also own a Ruger American Compact in .308 and it too is a tack driver. Bud's was, as always, great!
