Wow! Put the gun on layaway. Great service from Buds and fast shipping. This gun is a real beauty. I also have a stainless Ruger New Vaquero. This CIA gun seems to be more accurate than my Vaquero. I think it may be due to the fact that this gun may be a little easier to see the sights because they are dark blue (compared to the silver stainless sights of the Vaquero). Cylinder lockup on this revolver is also slightly tighter than the Vaquero. I put around 50 rounds downrange. No problems. Everything functions smooth and well. The trigger (although slightly thinner than the Vaquero) seems to have a lighter pull to it than the Vaquero. Also, overall this gun is lighter in weight than the Ruger. In my opinion, this gun functions and shoots just as well as my New Vaquero. I consider this gun a real bargain, and will use it as a spare for my CFDA shooting.
