I've fired over 500 rounds through this pistol since I received and it's performed flawlessly. This was my first pistol and I think it was a good choice to properly learn the fundamentals. The gun is reliable, easy to use, and I would recommend it. Additionally, Bud's was prompt in filling and shipping the order and the exchange with my selected FFL went smooth as silk.

As always, Buds was fantastic with fast shipping and excellent value. This pistol is a winner! After almost 2,000 rounds down range of various types, I have had less than five failure to feed and three failure to fire. The feed issues have been due to my thumb riding too close to the slide which always causes issues on a small blow back recoil system. It is accurate, and while lighter than center fire M&P pistols with a much reduced trigger pull, it is a good trainer and just down right fun to shoot. Easy to clean. No leading problems regardless of ammunition used during individual range sessions up to 300 plus rounds before cleaning. Highly recommend this pistol.

This is a good pistol. It is not as ammo sensitive as some 22 pistols. I do wish it came with at least 2 magazines though so that it could be used to practice reloads. Magazines run at about 20 to 25 dollars each, I picked up a couple extra but it adds to the price of the gun. Just something to think about. I would recommend this pistol to anyone needing a 22 for fun or just wanting to run some drills at less expense than using their center fire.

I love this gun. I bought a Beretta Bobcat here a few months ago that just didn't satisfy. I have, and love, an M&P Shield 9mm so bought this .22 as the companion. I didn't want the newer M&P .22 Compact; this full-sized pistol is made by Walther. I notice in the 2017 S&W catalog this pistol is no longer listed, only the compact. There is no recoil, cleaning is a cinch, and I really, really like the 12-round magazines. I purchased a Nic Taylor 15-round mag conversion, but you lose the ability to easily hand-load with the little knob on the side (it's removed). This gun is so quiet, so smooth. I normal use Mini-Mags but have even run some nasty, dirty Remington bulk and it ate it up perfectly. I've shot well over 2500 rounds with this gun; one FTE with bulk Federal, and that's it. Not the cheapest .22 pistol out there, but boy, is it a treat! More comfortable grip than my Shield/9, I've shot it literally for an hour at a time at the range without any discomfort.

If you own a full size M&P this is a perfect training firearm. If not, this is a very quality 22 hand gun. I would highly reccomend this firearm. please note the two I purchased require hi velocity ammo. Will not operate correctly with standard or subsonic.

Shoots nice. Like my other M&P\'s I don\'t care for the stock trigger. Not so much the pull just the cheap feel of the trigger itself. Unfortunately Apex doesn\'t offer anything for the .22 yet.

I purchased the fire arm and this gun is fun, I shot 500 rounds of Aguila 40gr with no problems at all. You get the full size feeling of this fire arm with the recoil of a 22lr. It was all fun, wife and kids enjoyed. The jams, miss feed and/or misfire, absolutely outstanding.

The S&W M&P 22 is a pleasure to shoot. Surprisingly accurate. I put 500 rounds thru it over 2 days. Did have 2 misfires, but reused again and they both fired. No jams, Shot the cheaper 22 as well as the more expensive stingers. However no misfires with the cci stingers. Glad I made this purchase. Fine gun , well made.

It\'s a workhorse but can be finicky with ammo. Cheap thunderbolt or similar lead round nose seem to work best. 1000\'s of rounds thru it. The rear sight I found out is loose so I will have to come up with a fix for it

The M&P 22 was accurate right out of the box. I have shot 300 rounds and have had no problems with the gun. Good price and quick delivery from Buds.
