Fantastic firearm. The finish is flawless and feels great in the hand. It's very accurate and the sights are easy to see. I've put about 250 rounds through it so far and am still not out of the recommended "break in" period. 124 grain ammo has been 100% reliable, but get occasional return to battery malfunctions with 115 grain range ammo. think that will work out with further break in. not a major problen in that it cycles HP anno fine and all my defensive ammo is 124 grain or more.

Once again buying from Buds it fantastic with super fast shipping. On to the Kds9c, it is everything I hoped it would be. The fit and finish are the best I’ve see on a Kimber. I own two and have fondled many and this one is the best. To describe the ergonomics of the gun I’d say the grip feels a lot like an M9 or 92. The shape, texture and width feel very similar which is great for me since I shoot carry optics with with one. It’s like an M9 with slim grips and a 1911 had a baby. The trigger is really good and I’m a trigger snob. 3.5 lbs average on my digital wheeler gauge. The safety is fantastic. It’s better than my Dan Wesson Vigil Commander. It really feels like someone put in the time to get everything fit perfectly. I put 200 rounds of federal 115 and had only one ftf. I put two mags of 124g HST with no issues. I think I need to shoot it a little more to get it fully broken in, but I don’t for see any major feeding issues. Without an optic, it fits in all my commander sized holsters, but I can’t wait to get an optic and I’ll have to find a holster solution for that. The only downside is the way the trigger guard is shaped there are small 16 inch gaps between the trigger and frame. I was kind of getting a hotspot on the bottom of my finger where it kind of got pinched in between the gap on the bottom but it’s no big deal. Totally worth the money I am super happy with the purchase.
