The CM Series takes the value priced features from Kahr's CW series (3.6 barrel 9mm .40 S&W and .45 ACP models) and incorporates these features into a smaller 3 barrel package. The CM9093 has the same external dimensions as the PM9093 which make it ideal for concealed carry by licensed civilians and law enforcement personnel. The CM9093 is chambered in a 9 x 19 caliber has a 3.0 barrel and an overall length of 5.42 with a height of 4.0. The pistol weighs in at 14 ounces plus 1.9 ounces for the 6 rd stainless steel magazine. Differences between the CM models and PM models are the CM9093 has a conventional rifled barrel instead of the match grade polygonal barrel on Kahr's PM series; the CM slide stop lever is MIM (metal-injection-molded) instead of machined; the CM series slide has fewer machining operations and uses simple roll marking instead of engraved markings and finally the CM series are shipped with one magazine instead of two magazines.Kahr's seven patents are incorporated into the CM9093 resulting in benefits not available in other compact semi-autos on the market today. The black polymer frame features patented 4140 steel inserts molded into the frame in the front and back for added rigidity and strength which can withstand firing thousands of rounds

This is a great handgun that needed afew break in rds. After the breakin period this handgun has performed without a failure of any kind. When new this handgun would CATCH after a rd was fired, after figuring out what the problem was a scotch bright pad and about 15 min time has made this my edc for the past 6-8 months.

Picked up my Kahr CM9 from my local FFL on Tuesday. Yesterday I took it to the range to run my 200 break-in rounds through it. I shot 100 rnds of the white box Winchester, 50 rnds of the dreaded \"walmart\" perfecta brass ammo, and 50 rnds of american eagle. Despite the changing ammo the CM9 shot every round without one issue. It was flawless. The biggest issue I had was not having a place for my last finger. Normally it\'s not a huge issue for me (other guns i have don\'t have room for my pinky) but shooting 200 rnds in about an hour with cold PA winter hands was an issue. Once I put on gloves it was fine. Most of my shots were from 10 yards with some being at 17 yards. The placement was decent especially for a smaller self defense gun. I\'m 100% confident in carrying the CM9 after not having even one issue in the first 200 rounds and I definitely recommend it. My brother had a PM9 that I really liked and which shot well. This is part of the reason I chose the CM9.

I ordered the Kahr CM9 from Bud's on 6/26/2016. It was received at my FFL in around five days. I cleaned it and noticed it was very tight. I worked the slide about 100 times before going to the range. It seems to have smooth out after the 200 round break-in and the recoil is very light for such a small firearm. I have had no FTF, jams or any problems in around 400 rounds. I have shot FMJ, various defense loads from different manufactures, and some reloads with no problems. It is very accurate and shoots to the point of aim. It is very easy to conceal and I forget sometimes that I am carrying it. This was my third purchase from Bud's and I was very pleased with the delivery, price, and service. In my opinion Bud's can't be beat.

Thanks again to Bud's for a great little pistol .This kahr cm9 is one heck of a little pocket pistol that shoots very nice.Have put several rounds through it with no issues, sights are better than I thought they would be and dead on,felt recoil is lighter than expected with it's heavy recoil spring even lighter than my Sig P320 .Very happy with this pistol so far and a great price.

update on review dated 3/25/2016
It took about 10 weeks to have my pistol returned from Kahr
They replaced the barrel and slide
though they said all replacement parts are new, the barrel appeared very scuffed
Happily though, i went to the range and shoot 100 rounds with 0 jams
124 grain ammo
Night and day different compared to before i sent the pistol back for repairs
Going back to the range shortly , going to shoot several 100 more rounds
if no jams, will start to use it as one of my EDC pistols
FYI customer service at Kahr was difficult at best

Love this gun! I was looking for a pocket carry 9mm and obviously had several options. As most reviews note, the trigger is wonderful. Yes, it\'s DAO with a long reset but it\'s incredibly smooth.
I put 300 rounds through it the first time at the range (varying types, including very cheap stuff, hand loads, and Federal Hydra Shoks) and didn\'t have a single failure of any sort.
I\'ve never owned a Kahr but am a big Glock fan. This gun will certainly impress most Glock guys.
I highly recommend this gun if you\'re looking for a small, single stack 9!

Picked up the CM9 last weekend
Ran 300 rounds using four types of ammo and two magazines
Had approx 95 jams
Sent the pistol back to Kahr a couple of days ago and told
There is a 60day turn around to fix the flaws in the pistol
I am very frustrated
In hind sight I would not of bought this gun

My new EDC gun! I got a super slim kydex appendix style carry holster for it and rubber talon grips and it was ready to go. The gun came soaked in oil, including the firing pin, so it had to be cleaned very well. Including the mag!
The only issue I have with it is the trigger connector retention spring kind of rubs on the trigger connector. Really not a big deal once you get some grease on it but it adds some grit to the smooth trigger.
I took it to the range about put about 250 rounds though it and only had one failure. The slide locked back on a loaded mag. It may have been the way I was holding the weapon that caused it.
This weapon is very small, almost as small as you would want in a 9MM. I can carry this gun all day and forget it's even there. It even fits well in my pockets!
