Very accurate, easy shooting, excellent brush gun. I bought the Rossi 92 Triple Black 357 mag for my son who is 12yrs old, he loves it. The loop is a little big for him but will grow into it and have something to pass down to his kids.

Love this Rossi, been wanting a 357 mag for years and buds made it happen. This gun has ran flawless through hundreds of rounds suppressed with zero issues.

Let me first say that I love this gun. The fit and finish are great and it handles so nicely. The barrel length is great and it’s lightweight enough to not be cumbersome but balanced perfectly to handle extremely well. Very fun to shoot both .357 and .38. As for the nuances that take it from 5 to 4 stars, first off the lever throw is long. Granted, it’s shooting a long cartridge with a big hoop, but having grown up with browning and Henry lever guns it’s probably 1-2” longer than those. Takes some getting used to. The bolt design is also interesting, in that there is a relief spring mechanism inside the bolt to allow the casing to move backwards about .5-1mm with each round fired to reduce wear on the bolt and hammer assembly. This is evidently a common trait on all lever guns shooting high pressure cartridges but was a bit alarming when inspecting the cartridges after ejection and finding significant case expansion. I don’t reload, nor do I plan to start, but the manual indicates only new or once fired brass is to be used without mentioning the reasoning. Other manufacturers such as Speers and Marlin evidently do mention this, but Rossi is not as specific. After multiple attempts to find an answer it seems the internet agrees this is simply the nature of these types of guns. That being said, it’s definitely worth noting for anyone planning to utilize this platform, especially with .357 being somewhat hard to come by these days. I certainly won’t be running anything but new, well kept and vetted manufactured ammunition. Besides that, this gun is awesome. It’s a full 6” shorter than my M1A socom and so light. Added an ADS knockoff red dot and it shoots dimes with no real effort. Love it.
