Remington Gun Club 12 GA Ammo 2.75" 1 1/8 oz #8 shot 1100fps 25rd box

I like Remington Gun Club for CAS. They are reasonably priced, shoot clean, and shuck well from my double.

I have repeatedly ordered this product because I like it's low recoil. Lately at both of the two ranges I frequent. My squad members have commented on strange noises occasionally from my shots of this target load. We regularly hear some strange sounds from reloads but not manufacturer's products. When this strange sound occurred while shooting with a squad which included the range master, and was commented on by two other members the range master suggested that a misfire may have occurred because it was cold. Because this range master only shoots his own reloads, and shoots so much, I take his opinion seriously. He also thinks that the shots which sound strange may have a FPS a couple of hundred FTS lower than the other rounds. I should add other reloaders often ask his advise. He suggested I try to keep these shells warm i.e. keep the minivan rear door closed so the interior stays warm which I haven't been doing. I think I will continue to use these shells despite the 50 cents a box price increase although I may order some of the Winchester low recoils as I like them as well. However my friends who reload will take the Remingtons but not the Winchesters.
