This full-size 1911 that starts with everything you love about our US Army model with a few details we thought would be perfect for soldiers post WWII. We started with a “ring” style spur hammer to help reduce the effects of hammer bite, making the gun more enjoyable to shoot. Next we took a look at the A1 style sights and added material to make them not only easier to see, but also more durable.

First off, the box is very nice, very sturdy. As the 1911 fits like glove in my hand balanced weight. sights are perfect, no machining marks what so ever. Magazine is flawless dropped free mags. Overall perfect govt size 1911 just what I need to carry.

This was everything it says it is. It came in a decent case that I can use to take it to the range. I have only been to the range with it once, it shot pretty well, my first shot at about 30 yards was close to center, it is snappier than a 9mm, but it is a lot of fun to shoot. I had one failure to feed, not sure what happened there, but otherwise it ran perfectly through about 50 rounds. Based on my experience, the build quality is pretty good, it does what it is supposed to, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Tisas handgun. If I had to change anything, it would be to put different sights on it, but it really isn't an issue. If anything changes, I will post another review. Great price and value.

No hammer bite. Price point is great, you get a 1911 worth twice as much. Accurate, tight, shoots anything you put through it.

Nothing better on the market than a tisas for the money! I've got 7 of them and shoot great out of the box! No breaking in which I don't believe in anyway. A gun should shoot from the start. Great product and will buy more

Heard good things about Tisas. It didn't disappoint. Handled great and plenty of power. Seems like a quality firearm. I would recommend of your looking for a good .45.

Nice 1911A1 for the money. Fit and finish are acceptable and upon taking it to the range, fired and worked properly, no issues. The sites are what they are. I felt that the weapon shoots a bit to the left compared to other 1911's that I own as well as other non 1911's. With this in mind, I corrected my aim ( more to the right of the target) and corrected the issue. It is a great close range gun. Depending on your needs, I would carry this as a CCW or home defense etc. Keep in mind the sites! Would buy this again.

I have never been a 1911 fan. My only contacts were learning to field strip one in US Navy boot camp and watching Magnum PI. Big, heavy, hard to conceal and expensive. Then I happened on the TISAS 1911A1 on Buds for only $350. At that price, I couldn't resist. Boy, was surprised! This is heck of a buy! Inexpensive, but there's nothing cheap about this gun. Everything except the grips (2 sets, black & brown) is solid, well fit steel. I am so impressed that I switched out my EDC 10 1.45acp with this 1911 8 1.45acp. For the cost of 2 rounds I now have an extra 2" sight radius. Add to that Buds Guns very fast delivery and you just can't lose.
