Great rifle! I never worry about whether or not the ammo I run is too cheap for it. It shoots everything reliably and straight. Glad I bought it.

I love this weapon. I haven't shot too many other examples of an AR, but of what I have tried, this performs admirably for it's price range. I was impressed at the accuracy with iron sights. It takes a bit to get them dialed in, but once they are set, its a nail-driver. My favorite Buds purchase, thus far.

This review is about Bud's not the 90289. As a first time purchaser from Bud's I was somewhat worried due to negative reviews/complaints about Bud's promptness shipping orders and contacting Bud's. In my case, Bud's had a good price and I ordered on a Sunday evening. The rifle was shipped the following Tues evening, 1-1/2 business days and was received on the east coast the following Friday morning. The product was factory new as advertised.
In case you are worried as I was, I can attest that all turned-out fine with my first order. I did not have occasion to contact Bud's since there were no issues.

I wanted a quality AR, and that is definitely what I got. After a thorough takedown and reassemble I was definitely impressed by the Bushmaster XM15. While the carry handle is a no no for many AR fans I preferred it, as it gives the weapon a bit more of quintessential AR style. That being said, if you don't like the carry handle it is removable unlike earlier models which I believe were fixed. The sights are very good. They are more than sufficient after adjustment for range, hunting or home defense. Came with a 30 round PMAG. This is a great AR that will compliment any collection and I definitely recommend it. Buds price and service continues to be excellent.

What can one say it s a AR15 and has so many uses. As said before I have the briefcase carry for it and use it sometimes. Very useful in alll sorts of ways for protection, hunting and chasing off pest in the yard. I will have one in another caliber or so very soon. Very versatile gun!

Bought this rifle on 3 months layaway as I was sure with all the anti gun nuts that they would try and some how have it restricted or banned. Rifle arrived after 3 or 4 days to my FFL dealer would have arrived a day sooner but we had a snow storm. After unboxing it was nicely impressed with it. I got a pmag with mine not a metal mag, that was nice! Also has a bayonet lug / M203 launcher Under the barrel, very nice!! Did a good cleaning to remove the residue from them test firing and it’s all good to go, already replaced the simple handgrip with a picany rail and handle, put a flip up sight on the rear . This gun comes as a very basic standard rifle so you can upgrade what you want to make it your own personal rifle. Don’t get me wrong this is exactly what I wanted! I have yet to fire it but rest assured I will post an update after I do. Just waiting on the 1000 round to arrive in a few days, also bought 500 m885 Green tip steel core ammo to keep Incase it’s needed. Got 6 extra pmags and a single point sling also comming. Service was great though buds! Ordered my wife a Christmas pistol last year worked out great too! Will keep ordering though buds, just wish they would do 6 months layaway for the more expensive guns as regular working folks can’t shell out a lot of money for nice guns with out breaking the bank! But all in all a 5 Star! Will update after I put a few hundred rounds though it! Thanks Buds!!
