Great price, delivery and product! This is my third M&P Shield and I love them all. Love the capacity of the Shield Plus and, with the higher capacity magazine, it fits great in the hand. Even with the larger magazine, it's a great EDC. One point of advice... be sure to use the recommended trigger disconnect (the greenish yellow lever) when you go to remove the slide. It's been around a long time but people often ignore it and pull the trigger to remove the slide. On some Shields, mine included, the slide might still hang up if the disconnect isn't used. The disconnect was installed as a safety device to eliminate pulling the trigger and slide removal works best if you use it. Lots of videos on line about it but some still can't figure it out and end up trying to send their pistols in for repair when there's actually nothing wrong. This pistol will be my EDC as soon as my new red dot arrives. Note: There are a number of quality red dot optics out there with the RMSc footprint that can be installed without an adapter plate.

Replaced a Glock 43X MOS as my EDC. This new Shield Plus fixed everything that I did not love about the original Shield (fairly low capacity, that hinge trigger safety). S&W have managed to vastly increase capacity without increasing the size of the weapon much at all. And the trigger is exceptional, honestly one of the best stock triggers I've tried on a micro 9. This model comes with stock night sights that are nice and bright, plus a nice bright orange front sight for quick and easy target acquisition. All of these features, plus the compatibility with original Shield holsters and accessories, plus the very reasonable price, means I'm a very happy customer. I didn't even mention that it is very easy to shoot! Not particularly snappy for a gun this small. I love it!

Favorite carry gun I own, easy to grip and conceal. Love the ability to change grip length with flush(10) vs extended mag(13). I think the OR version is the best bang for buck becuase of the night sights and red dot capability. Usually the gun I recommend now to friends and family getting into CC. Best 1st 9mm handgun imo.

Awesome pocket gun! Good night sights although the front night sight is dimmer than the rear night sights by a noticeable amount, much more so than regular aftermarket night sights. Other than that, 10/10 all around but even the factory night sight slightly dimmer front sight I am nit picking. I would be a little upset if I paid $120 for aftermarket sights where the front sight was like 30% dimmer than the rear sights(which is the case here roughly) but for factory installed night sights, I am not going to complain especially when S&W is offering a $50 rebate...
