First 100 rounds and the P22 had 4 or 5 failures to feed. I'll attribute it to the sharp edges on the two magazines. A tap on the back of the slide sent the slide forward and the bullet to feed. Accuracy was good. As with any new semiauto, function gets better the more it is shot. I purchased it as a plinker for my wife and she seems to really like the gun despite the failures to feed. I would buy it again!

Walther has done a great job updating the styling on their P22. Everyone in the family loves to shoot it, and its my wifes favorite gun! It does like higher quality ammo, we have had good luck with Federal Automatch. We might add another, its a fun little gun to shoot! The safety, and mag release will take a little getting used to...not mu favorite but for a plinker I can deal with those little offsets.

Bought this pistol Dec 2015. Buds shipped fast. The Walther P22 is a nice shooting pistol. Shot about 1000 rounds threw it so far. Only problem it will only shoot CCI ammo reliably. Also buy the short barrel P22 pistol then buy the long barrel kit. Doing it the other way the short barrel is all but impossible to find individually..

I love this lil gun. Its my second Walther p22. The other is blued but I wanted one to match my stainless ruger sr22. . Both P22's work flawlessly with any ammo over 1200 fps. That is the key to proper function of either the sr22 or the p22. No FTF or FTE. I actually prefer the p22 over the sr22. The paddle safety on the p22 fits my hand perfect and can use 4 of the 5 fingers on my hand to release it , but the sr22 I have to curl my thumb or fingers up tight to operate it. For those unaware , ruger copied the p22 pistol and "Americanized" it. ( Changed the mag release location and added more safety gadgets. ) I love ruger products but have noticed on some reviews that the p22 got were unnecessary bad reviews when most of the issues are due to slow ammo. But I can tell you that the ruger sr22 does NOT function with 1040 fps ammo either. Both are blow back operated and require a little more power than say a browning buck mark to function properly. Accuracy is right on and reliability is top notch. I also like the fact that the p22 does not have all the plastic parts and safety garb the sr22 has. These P22's are a well kept secret along with most anything Walther builds. I'm glad I tried them and my p22's (or PPX) will never leave my collection. If you are wanting a small .22lr semi auto hand gun , I would definitely try one of these.

Nice little 22 pistol, great for introducing people to firearms. I like the ni-cad finish, everything wipes off easily and the slide maintains high lubricity. great price on a fun gun.

I've seen mixed reviews for this gun but my personal experience with it was great. The service from Bud's was excellent. From payment made till I got the gun transferred took about 7 business days. The gun it self looks and works great. I saw no defects and noticed no flaws after putting 150 rounds through it. For the money this is a very good gun to introduce people to firearms with and also a fun gun to use at the range. The fact you can save money by shooting .22 is also a big plus. I am very glad I bought this .22 pistol here on Buds.
